South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA)
The mission of the South Asian Law Student Association (SALSA) is to help develop, foster and promote the professional and social needs and goals of students of South Asian descent; to focus on the relationship of the South Asian attorney in the legal system; to form a social network for South Asian law students to connect with one another and with South Asian attorneys in the community; to instill in the South Asian law students and attorneys a greater awareness of and commitment to the needs of the community; and to utilize developed connections to establish acknowledgment within the legal system that will make it more responsive to the needs and concerns of the community.
