Employment and Labor Law Society (ELLS)
The Employment and Labor Law Society was organized to achieve the following purpose:
1) Articulate and promote the academic and professional needs and goals of students interested in employment and labor law.
2) Foster and encourage professional competence.
3) Act as resource for the Suffolk Law School community.
4) Promote awareness of employment and labor law issues in the Suffolk Law Community.
5) To provide assistance, including information, to Suffolk Law students in order to enhance opportunities in the profession.
6) Encourage multi-partisan student participation.
The Employment and Labor Law Society has sponsored many interesting activities such as labor/management an affirmative action debates, career and topic oriented speaker panels, and brown bag luncheons to discuss relevant substantive issues in employment and labor law. New members are always welcome!
