National Italian American Bar Association (NIABA)
The National Italian American Bar Association at Suffolk Law School stands for the proposition that as Italian American law students we have a responsibility to recognize the achievements of Italian Americans in the legal community, and to celebrate those achievements by welcoming distinguished guest speakers here to the law school, and possibly establishing a scholarship for interested students. Also, as a social group we strive to foster unity, fellowship, and support among Italian American law students, as well as other law students. And finally, we are committed to sponsoring activities which allow others to see and realize the nobility and respect of a legal career. As a support group, we are committed to assisting our members in coping with the hectic and rigorous schedule that a legal education imposes on an individual.
