Suffolk Law Democrats
Suffolk University Law School has a rich tradition in the world of politics here in Massachusetts. SLD will work to increase student awareness and particiaption in the political process whether it is an issue or a campaign relevant to where the law and policy can meet. SLD works to raise the awareness and profile of issues of society today in a context that supports not just the Demcratic Party, but the Democratic process on a whole.
It will raise the level of awareness to educate and encourage greater participation in the political process and give people an opportunity to base their opinions on the real facts rather than just headlines or sound bites. Where the law and policy meet will serve as the basis for most of the focus. The group will also give students a chance to participate more actively with campaign issues or candidates.
