The Student Bar Association (SBA), to which all members of the student body belong, is a service organization run by and for students. The SBA is also the umbrella organization that all other student organizations fall under.
The association works closely with the Dean's Office, Suffolk Law School faculty and staff to coordinate and improve all aspects of Suffolk Law student life. SBA executive board members and class representatives participate on faculty appointment committees, assist with orientation and graduation, attend faculty meetings, and sponsor several professional and social functions throughout the year. In addition, the SBA President and SBA delegates serve as liaisons to the Suffolk Law School Alumni Association Board and Board of Visitors. At the national level, the association is a member of the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association.
